Time was spent servicing different departments within the News UK 🗞️ business, one being the internal comms team. Single handedly designing and maintaining the creative comms quarterly print supplement that went out to over 4000 📢 key stakeholders within the business was one of the main roles, alongside branding internal initiatives💡, senior stakeholder presentations, interactive promos and more recently promoting the launch 🚀 of the new intranet.

Working directly with the internal comms team, a super exciting project for me was being in charge of the launch of News UK’s fresh look intranet creative assets. This was important as it would directly effect thousands of workers and benefit them in many ways. Using spaces in and around the building such as lobbies, communal areas and the canteen space we went back to basics with stickers, table talkers and posters, which led to a successful rollout of the intranet.

Wellness Wednesdays is an initiative set up by News UK to offer wellness services including workshops, seminars and blog posts to its employees to benefit their mental and physical health. This worked particularly well during the pandemic which contributed to News UK winning best internal communications campaign of the year in The Drum’s PR Awards.
